Jersey-raised singer-songwriter wins RevGen and Autumn Blaze band

God works in mysterious ways, but for Reilly,
winner of both the inaugural RevGen Breakout and the Autumn Blaze
Battle of the Bands, He also works in very marketable
ways.
The Philadelphia-based group will perform on
Saturday at the third annual Revelation Generation Christian youth
festival with Jars of Clay, Newsboys and many others at Revelation
Farms, Kingwood. On Oct. 13, the faith-focused five-piece will perform
at Star 99.1-FM’s Autumn Blaze festival with headliners Toby Mac and
BarlowGirl at Continental Airlines Arena, East Rutherford. The shows
sandwich the release of the group’s second independent CD, “Let June
Decide.”
“To participate in not one but two
festivals is totally exciting,” said John Reilly, the band’s namesake
singer-songwriter-acoustic guitarist. “God is so faithful. The timing
with the new record being released just in time for these festivals,
God must have something in store.
